We took Makayla to Thanksgiving point last Saturday. She loved the Farm Country, and kept calling everything "fish" at the Dinosaur Museum. She was right some of the time.
Here is Mommy and Baby looking at the baby ducks.

Makayla is very much a climber. The first fake cow was standing. Not sure how she thought she was going to climb it but she walked up and tried. She was much less frustrated when we found the cow bench...more on her climbing capability level.

She very much loved the goats, and came back to them a couple times.

The pigs, on the other hand, not a hit. Here is the little tike clinging to Mom because the pig is making I want to eat the child sounds (aka...snorting).

She was super interested in the horses. Until it came time to ride. She figured holding to mommy was safer than trusting the little pony to not buck her off.

Luckily, Daddy was there to save the day. Using the tried and true method Daddy's everywhere used (put the kid on the pony and move far enough away they can't try to grab you) he was able to convince her riding the pony was a good idea. And...

She was very grateful. We quickly went from get me off this pony to if you take me off this pony I will scream bloody murder. And, she did.

Here we are going from the Farm World place and heading to the Dinosaur museum. We had to walk past the goats again, which gave a good distraction from the sadness of leaving the pony ride.

The dinosaur museum has a little physics lab next to it. Seriously, who doesn't associate extinct animals with modern physics theories??? Makayla's favorite was the balls rolling around the funnel. Mostly she just loved that she could throw a ball in and it would come out the bottom, where she could grab it and then throw it in again.

Sitting on the remains of a dino-baby. Super fun.

Posing on the statue...

Her favorite was the little cave just her size. This is her best Triceratops impersonation. Too bad the roaring can't be conveyed through picture. Also, Mommy only put two horns on the top of her head. Something about style and looking cute, wierd.

And here she is doing her best T-Rex. Looking around for something to eat, or at least boss around. Just in case you were able to make it through this entire post without noticing the T-Shirt she is wearing...let me point it out to you. She is going to be a BIG SISTER. WOOO HOOO. Beth is 8 weeks along, and we expect Poseidon to join us around the 8th of April.
